5. Spread a thin layer of cream of mushroom on the bottom of the crock pot
6. Add potatoes in single layer
7. Add half the onion on top of the potatoes and 1/3 to 1/2 of the cream of mushroom mixture
8. Lay in steaks over the potatoes and avoid as much overlapping as possible
9. Add the other half of the onions over steaks
10. Pour the rest of the cream of mushroom mixture over the steaks and onions, covering as much of the meat as possible ( I spooned it in to make sure it was all covered)
11. Set crock pot on low for 8 hours and forget about it!
