- Heat oil in a pan add the whole spices and saute then till they are fragrant.
- Then add the sliced onions,stir very well to medium flame till the onions become golden brown.
- Then add tomatoes stir and saute for 3 minutes.
- Add the boiled mushrooms, salt,garam masala powder,green chillies crushed cloves, grated gingee turmeric powder, coriander powder saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add soaked rice and water and cover the pan with a lid and cook the biryani till the rice grains are done.
- Once the rice grains are cooked cover and allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving biryani.
- The gently fluff the rice with a fork.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve the biryani with salad or raita.a
