Instructions to make Tawa Burger:
  1. For the filling: - Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds let the cumin turn golden. Now add the chopped ginger-garlic and sauté till they also turn slightly golden. Now add the onion and sauté them for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the tomatoes and capsicum. Cover and cook till tomatoes turn a little soft. Don’t cook them all the way. Now add the garam masala, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix well. Add the boiled potatoes, cottage cheese and green coriander. Add a spash of water just about a table spoon and mix very well. Finally add the grated cheese and mix. Your filling is ready.
  3. To assemble the burger - Cut the burger buns in half horizontally. We normally get buns which are already cut in half. Spread some filling on the bottom half and cover with the top half. Prepare all 6 burgers like this.
  4. Melt some butter on a griddle and sprinkle red chilli powder and green coriander. Pan grill the burgers in this masala butter from all sides.
  5. Serve immediately with your choice of sauce. You can add some fries or chips on the side as well.
