  1. Wash your cucumber.
  2. Now choose if you want it grated, or do you want thin slices. Careful on the fingers when grating though. (I went with grated using this side of the grater:)
  3. If you want to spice your Mizeria up, add some radish! You can grate it or slice into slices.
  4. Add your yoghurt, an amount which is enough to have a little bit excess after mixing with the cucumber.
  5. Add your vinegar, salt, black pepper, and sugar in a 4:3:2:2 ratio
  6. Note: Do not go overboard with the vinegar!
  7. Note 2: if you can't get spirit vinegar, use a similar alternative (do not use malt vinegar or apple cider vinegar!) You could probably get away with using lemon juice if you're desperate…
  8. Note 3: remember, the yoghurt cancels out some of the taste, and the cucumber soaks in whatever you'll add to some degree
  9. Mix it all up, but in the end you need to mix the 4 ingredients to your liking and remember to do frequent taste tests to make sure you don't overdo one of the 4 ingredients (the ratio is only a guide)
  10. Finally add a fair bit of dill and/or mint to give it that Herby zing
